Frequently Asked Questions About NVE Search News / Home Page Help Page

How it Works

To obtain a voice:

Search by voice traits, and add keywords to find specific traits such as a particular accent, impression, or foreign language.

Review the search results and click on demo recordings to hear samples from each talent.

Select the desired talent and click on the “submit request” button to file your request with the talent's station and NVE.

Fill out the online form including copy, deadline, special instructions. Once you send the request, your account is debited the appropriate voice credit. This credit is placed in an escrow account.

The voice talent, after accepting the request, will do the voice-over and send you a file via e-mail. NVE will send periodic e-mails asking if you're satisfied. Once you confirm your satisfaction, the credit is released from escrow and awarded to the station that produced the spot.

If there are problems with the produced spot that cannot be resolved, or if you're facing a tight deadline, contact NVE.

  • Duplicate requests of the same copy to multiple radio stations are not allowed unless you're willing to pay for each.

To post a voice:

Choose which voices among your employee talent you wish to make available through NVE.

Select "Add a Talent" from your member's account page.

Fill out the listing form for each voice, including voice traits, station, market, and contact info.

Download an MP3 file of the talent's demo, approximately 90 seconds duration.

To change the listing for a voice talent, select "Edit Talent" from the member's account page and make changes to the profile, including the availability of the talent.
